Our practice is located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We have easy access to clients and properties not only in Tyne & Wear, but throughout the North East of England and have been involved in projects throughout the UK for our existing clients.
Robbie Peel BSc (Hons) MRICS
Robbie came to the North East to study Building Surveying at Northumbria University. He attained a first class honours degree and subsequently became a chartered member of the RICS and RICS registered valuer. Initially working at a practice in Northumberland, Robbie gained skills in survey and report writing, architectural design, project management and contract administration, party wall matters and insurance reinstatement. He has worked on domestic, commercial and industrial projects and overseen works carried out for clients such as Fentimans Beverages, the NHS, schools, Screwfix and several property developers.
Robbie established MADE in 2015 and aims to provide a professional building surveying service with a friendly approach.
Outside of work, Robbie is a keen gym goer, golfer and enjoys walking with his working cocker spaniel who also takes pride of place as the office dog.
John Johnson BSc (Hons) MRICS MFPWS
Chartered Building Surveyor
John is from County Durham and attained his honours degree in Building Surveying at Northumbria University. He became a chartered member of the RICS in 2017. John started his career with a small family practice in County Durham where he gained experience in the many disciplines of building surveying including; both residential and commercial pre-acquisition surveys, dilapidations, specific defect diagnosis, contract administration, planned preventative maintenance surveys and party wall matters.
John was the first person in the country to attain the first qualification in party wall studies accredited by the Awarding Body for the Built Environment. He is also a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (FPWS) which is a training and education body which promote the highest standards of professional practice in party wall matters.
Outside of work, John plays darts for his local pub team and has recently discovered skiing on a trip to Italy, and is keen to return to the slopes on a regular basis.
Rob John BSc (Hons) ACIAT
Rob is originally from Cambridgeshire and has recently moved up to North East after living in Australia for a couple of years.
Rob gained an honours degree in Architectural Technology from the University of Derby in 2013 and has since gained experience working on a variety of projects around the world ranging from state-of-the-art veterinary hospitals in South London to bespoke residential extensions in Melbourne, Australia. He enjoys getting involved early in the design stage and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys to travel when he can and looks forward to exploring the North East as well as playing a few rounds at the local golf courses.
Elaine is born and bred in Newcastle, and juggles a busy home life with a job she loves.
She has a vast amount of experience in PA/Secretarial work in both the public and private sectors. Her current role is to provide support to Robbie Peel, Director of MADE Surveying & Architectural. Elaine loves being part of a growing company and leaves the office each day feeling that her work has made a difference.
Outside of work, Elaine's biggest achievement is adopting her son. She also enjoys various activities such as dog walking, travelling and sampling fine wine, food and spending time with friends.
Debra is from Newcastle upon Tyne and currently lives by the coast in Blyth, Northumberland.
She has many years’ experience in PA/Secretarial work, mostly in the private sector but more recently working as a Secretary for the NHS in the A&E Department of the new emergency care hospital in Cramlington. Previous to that, Debra worked as a PA to the Director of a planning consultancy for 10 years gaining a good knowledge of how the planning system works.
Outside of work Debra loves seeing the world through holidays and travelling, along with socialising with friends and enjoying the fresh air from walks along the beautiful coastline of the North East.
